About this event
Water is as critical to life as air. It’s what we share, mostly what we are, what we pollute, and what we revere.
Water Futures is an international, interdisciplinary event involving participants from across Australia and the Asia Pacific, including artists, scientists, Indigenous elders, economists, activists, politicians, diplomats and business people.
Guests include Rajendra Singh, winner of the Stockholm Water prize and known as the Water Man of India; Latai Taumoepeau, a Tongan-Australian performance artist; Tony Birch, renowned Indigenous author and educator; Cynthia Schneider, international diplomacy expert and activist; and Eva Abal, who works between Australia and the Philippines at the Global Change Institute.
Join Arts House, Tipping Point Australia and Asia TOPA in this day-long discussion and exchange about our most precious resource.
