THE EVENT The 2nd Annual Hack for the Sea is a three day technology competition where students and professionals form teams to “hack” on the biggest problems facing our oceans today.

THE CHALLENGE We live in extremely volatile times, and it’s often science that pays the price. In addition to the traditional maritime theme, we are encouraging hackers to seek sustainability and longevity in their submissions. Additional details forthcoming.

WHO Students, software & hardware engineers, designers, subject matter experts and more are all encouraged to participate in the Hack for the Sea.

WHEN? SEPT 15-17, 2017 Friday Night Panel - discussion and team formation Saturday - Hack all day with subject matter experts Sunday Afternoon - Presentation and judging
